Job Title: Dog Daycare Attendant - K9 Camp & Resort

Position Type: Full-Time (Two shifts available: 6 AM - 12 PM and 12 PM - 6:30 PM)

Position Summary:

K9 Camp & Resort is seeking passionate and dedicated Dog Daycare Attendants to join our team in Middleborough, MA. As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care and attention to the dogs in our facility, ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging environment for our canine guests. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine love for dogs, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and interact with dogs in a group play setting, providing continuous engagement and monitoring their behavior.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, including regular cleaning of play areas, equipment, and kennels.
• Administer meals, medications, and special care as needed for each dog.
• Communicate effectively with fellow team members and management to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
• Develop a rapport with dog owners, providing updates on their pet's behavior, health, and well-being.
• Assist with various tasks, including check-in/check-out procedures, record-keeping, and inventory management.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to expand knowledge and improve skills.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting (daycare, boarding, veterinary, training, etc.) is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of dog behavior, body language, and handling techniques.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand, and move continuously throughout a 6-hour shift.
• Comfortable working in a loud and active environment with multiple dogs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
