Robert Half is looking for an experienced Vice President of Finance to join our client's executive leadership team in South Jersey. In this critical role, you will oversee the organization’s financial strategy, planning, and operations, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving financial performance and supporting key business initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term vision and goals.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis (FP& A) efforts to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure robust internal controls, compliance with accounting standards, and continuous improvement in financial processes.
  • Supervise and mentor the Controller and other members of the accounting team to foster growth and high performance.
  • Spearhead the implementation, optimization, and management of NetSuite across the organization to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various teams on capital investments, pricing strategies, and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the financial lead for acquisitions, audits, and maintaining strong banking relationships.

The ideal VP of Finance candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA required and MBA preferred.

Other requirements for the VP of Finance position include and are not limited to:

  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
  • Manufacturing experience ideal
  • Demonstrated experience with NetSuite
  • Proven track record of strategic financial leadership and building strong finance teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and a hands-on leadership style.
