We currently seek a Group Vice President of Procurement and Supply Chai n to join our Village at our World Headquarters in Denver. This leader will be responsible for leading and optimizing the organization's procurement, sourcing, logistics, and supply chain strategies. This executive will drive operational excellence, ensure cost efficiency, support our resilience efforts, enhance supplier relationships, and deliver business objectives by aligning supply chain strategies with our enterprise goals. The SVP will oversee all procurement and supply chain operations, develop and implement best practices, and foster innovation to create a competitive advantage. This position must uphold the Core Values of DaVita and comply with DaVita policies and regulations.

The following duties and responsibilities reflect the expectations of this position.

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's procurement and supply chain strategy to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Procurement & Sourcing: Oversee supplier negotiations, vendor management, contract development, and sourcing strategies to ensure high-quality, cost-effective procurement.

  • Supply Chain Optimization: Lead initiatives to improve logistics, inventory management, demand planning, and distribution to balance and enhance resilience and operational efficiency.

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with global supply chain disruptions, geopolitical challenges, and supplier dependencies.

  • Technology & Innovation: Drive digital transformation by leveraging automation, AI, and data analytics to optimize procurement and supply chain processes.

  • Cost Efficiency: Establish cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and supplier partnerships to maximize value while maintaining product quality and availability.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Partner with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, manufacturing, and sales teams, to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

  • Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical sourcing policies, and corporate sustainability initiatives.

  • Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement and supply chain team to achieve business excellence.

Previous Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant master's degree preferred.

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management, with at least 5 years in an executive leadership role.

  • Extensive experience in global sourcing, supplier management, logistics, and supply chain strategy development.

  • Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives and operational improvements.

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

  • Deep understanding of procurement technologies, inventory and ERP systems, and data analytics tools.

  • Expertise in risk management, compliance, and sustainability best practices.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Salary/ Wage Range
$259,700.00 - $433,700.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
