Overview

Uniform Room Attendant

The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Uniform Room Attendant to join the only Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.


The Uniform Room Attendant will be responsible for receiving, storing, and cleaning colleague uniforms.


Responsibilities

• Receive and issue all uniforms in a professional manner
• Issue all uniforms on an exchange basis only, in order to maintain uniform controls
• Visually assesses repair needed; accurately measure and alter uniforms
• Accept laundry from team members, verify, count and inventory what was collected
• Prepare dry cleaning and laundry lists. Send and receive dry cleaning and laundry for processing
• Wash and iron team members and guest clothing
• Organize guest clothes in the laundry box after they have been received.

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous customer service or cleaning experience
• Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
• Physical demands:
• Ability to push and pull loaded uniform carts
• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance
