Part-Time Visitor Services Tour Guide
Location: Onsite at the John Deere Pavilion

Were looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Tour Guide to join our Visitor Services team! This part-time job requires availability on Saturdays, with approximately 30 hours per week of scheduled work.

About the Role

As a Tour Guide, youll be the face of the John Deere Pavilion, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional and memorable experience. Youll welcome visitors, provide insights into the Pavilions exhibits, assist with tours, and help with various visitor services duties.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for all guests, including individuals and tour groups.
• Conduct informative and engaging overviews of the Pavilions self-guided layout.
• Assist visitors by providing information about John Deere and local attractions.
• Perform front desk operations, including answering calls and taking tour reservations.
• Help with special events, including setup and teardown.
• Complete opening and closing procedures for the facility.
• Provide general administrative and visitor support as needed.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.

• A friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable engaging with guests of all ages and backgrounds.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations (experience with reservation systems is a plus).
• Previous experience in museum, tourism, or hospitality settings is a plus.

Additional Details

• Onsite position must be available to work at the John Deere Pavilion.
• The Pavilion operates Monday 1-5 PM, Tuesday-Saturday 9-5 PM, closed Sundays.
• Candidates must have Saturday availability and flexible weekday availability.
• Local candidates only, please.
