As a Product Manager at RTI’s Sunnyvale office, you’ll help define and drive innovative solutions across AI initiatives, developer tools, and upcoming strategic projects. You'll work closely with engineering teams and end users to ensure our products deliver exceptional experiences and real value. We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager with strong UX expertise to support key AI initiatives and our broader developer tools products. This role is perfect for someone who has worked on products for developers - such as Observability tools, infrastructure software, or APIs and has a passion for user research. You’ll champion the voice of the user, translate insights into actions, and help guide product decisions with a keen focus on usability and experience. As a Product Manager at RTI, you’ll play a critical role in shaping products that advance our company’s strategy and goals. In this role, you will: Lead user research efforts to deeply understand customer needs, pain points, and workflows. Translate user insights into clear, actionable product requirements. Partner with engineering teams to create intuitive solutions that delight customers. Apply design thinking principles to guide ideation, prototyping, and validation. Work with technical and business stakeholders to prioritize features and improvements that enhance user experience and deliver value quickly. Support Marketing and Sales to ensure product messaging is clear, compelling, and aligned with customer needs and company strategy. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of experience in a B2B technical software, product, or program management role, with a focus on building developer tools, platforms, or ecosystems (e.g., middleware, infrastructure software, APIs, SDKs, or networking products). Hands-on software development experience or strong adjacent technical background. Strong understanding of developer workflows, technical audiences, and the unique challenges of building tools for developers. Demonstrates a proactive, growth-oriented mindset with excellent prioritization and time management skills. The compensation range for this role is $140k - $170k a year in Sunnyvale, California. The salary range displayed on this job posting reflects a minimum and maximum target.
