Position Summary: 
We are seeking an experienced Shopify Developer to lead the development and implementation of a custom Shopify Advanced theme and its complete backend functionality. This role involves working closely with both front-end and back-end development teams to ensure seamless integration, mobile-first responsiveness, optimized performance, and tracking/analytics setup.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May perform any or all of the following):

Front-End Development:

• Build a custom Shopify Advanced theme adhering to the latest coding standards and best practices .
• Develop a mobile-first, fully responsive design to enhance user experience across all devices.
• Ensure the theme is SEO-friendly with optimized structure and metadata.
• Implement and validate Google Analytics tags , GTM containers, and event tracking.
• Optimize performance for top device types and browsers to ensure consistency.

Back-End Development:

• Develop and manage Shopify backend functionality, ensuring full operability and stability.
• Handle integration setup, including but not limited to:
• Payment processors
• Fulfillment center
• Analytics tools like Google Analytics, GTM
• Required Shopify Apps for operations and marketing
• Ad tracking pixels (Meta, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
• Manage launches, content updates, and the deployment of all assets across the storefront.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in Shopify Advanced theme development
• Strong expertise in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks
• Experience with Shopify API and third-party integrations
• Deep understanding of eCommerce analytics, tag management, and pixel tracking
• Familiarity with tools like GTM, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and SEO best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize for various devices and browsers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Shopify Plus
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Experience with headless Shopify or JAMstack is a plus
