What you’ll do as a Trainee Locator Learn utility locating techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation Develop understanding of local utility infrastructure and regulations Partner with experienced Locators to mark underground utility lines Operate utility locating equipment Perform work in all weather conditions Operate company vehicle safely Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/after-hours duties as needed What you’ll need Be 18 years or older Authorization to work in the U.S. for this company High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience Valid State driver’s license (no Provisional), with an acceptable MVR Physical requirements & exposures Routinely : work alone in remote locations, operate vehicles, perform manual tasks, lift up to 55 lbs, work in all weather conditions Occasionally : work in confined spaces, climb stairs, walk on uneven terrain Transferable skills include: Facility Maintenance, Technician, Route Driver, Meter Reading, Landscaping, Outdoor Work, Pest Control, Surveying, Military, Utility Locating, Construction, Labor Salary Range: $20 - $25/hr (based on experience) *As per California regulations, pay scale is $20 to $25/hr (salary depends on experience) Why work with us Our careers offer more than just a job — they’re pathways to opportunity.
