Medens Health Psychology Extern (2025-2026) Beverly Hills, CA · Las Vegas, NV · Intern 2025-2026 doctoral Clinical Training Program opportunities. Description Medens Health has maintained a structured supervision and training program for clinical psychology trainees, predoctoral interns, and postdoctoral residents since 2020. For the 2025-2026 term, we are pleased to provide extern opportunities at our Beverly Hills and Las Vegas locations. Our comprehensive one-year Clinical Training Program is exclusively in person and will center on assessments and psychotherapy. Trainees can expect to receive supervision and mentorship from seasoned experts, including clinical psychologists, post-doctorate fellows, marriage and family therapists, and clinical social workers. This program is designed to equip trainees with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for predoctoral internships. Key Focus Areas of the Clinical Training Program: Expertise in Mental Health : Trainees achieve competency in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental illness. Ethical Responsibility : Trainees gain a clear understanding of the ethical and legal obligations of the profession as defined by the American Psychological Association (APA). Embracing Diversity : We emphasize cultural, ethnic, gender, sexual orientation, religious, and class diversity as integral to professional development. Professional Skills : Trainees will be equipped with essential skills for professional conduct, effective team collaboration, and successful workplace interactions. Commit to 16 to 20 hours per week from August 1, 2025 through July 31, 2026. All program activities will be conducted onsite / in person at Medens Health’s principal place of business in Beverly Hills. Deliver care to individuals, couples, and families, including working with 5-8 therapy clients per week and/or conducting up to 3 psychological assessments per month. Prepare for, attend, and actively participate in all individual and group supervision sessions. Uphold professional standards by maintaining appropriate attire and grooming, presenting a polished and professional image. Always arrive on time for supervision and client appointments to show your commitment and professionalism. Demonstrate willingness to work with diverse patient populations. Respect differing worldviews and values, even when they conflict with your own. Collaborate effectively and respectfully with colleagues holding different perspectives. Be open to working with any patient seeking treatment, except when personal safety is at risk or competence may compromise patient care. Seek supervision, consultation, and training to address competency issues related to specific populations or presenting problems.
