TheprimaryresponsibilityoftheProductionScheduleristorepresenttheCompanyinallproductionplanningactivitiesfortheplant.Thisinvolvesmaintainingathoroughunderstandingoftheentireproductlifecycleincludinginternalandexternalprocessing.Maintainsstatusofallpartswithinthesystemandadjustsasnecessaryduetobothseenandunforeseencircumstancesincludingbutnotlimitedtochangesincustomerorders,machinebreakdownsandqualityconcerns.Theproductionschedulermustbeabletomoveswiftlyfromonetasktoanotherandstayontopofallactivityinrealtime.

PrincipalDutiesandResponsibilities

Coordinatethecreationandschedulingofshoporderstomeetcustomer ordersandminimumstockingrequirements.
ProcessesordersincompliancewithestablishedCustomerService ProceduresandSOPrequirements.
Verifycompletedshoporders.
Responsibleforcodinglateshipmentsandon-timedeliveryreports.
Monitorordersforecast,planproductionrequirementsandreviewlabor& assetneedswithplantmanagementteams.Assistinplanningand implementationofchangesasrequired.
Verifyhoursandminutesareenteredinthetimekeepingsystem.
Productionschedulingofsecondaryoperations.
Proactivelyinteractwithcustomers/contractorstorelayfeedbackorinquirywithregardstoorderfluctuations,expecteddelivery,orotherplantconcerns.
Participateinimprovementprojects.
MustfollowallsafetyrulesandpoliciesassetforthbyOSHAguidelinesandtheCompanypoliciesandproceduresasoutlinedintheemployeemanual.
FollowtherequirementsoftheQualityPolicy,ISO/TSsystem,and proceduresandparticipateintheContinuousQualityprocess
Maintainacleanandsafeworkenvironmentandreportanyunsafe conditionsinatimelymanner
MustfollowallsafetyrulesandpoliciesassetforthbyOSHAguidelinesandtheCompany,includingwearingtheproperpersonalprotectiveequipment (PPE)
Performotherassociatedduties,functionsorworkasmaybeneededor assignedtocontinuetheproductiveoperationofthecompany.

Thefundamentalcandidatecharacteristicsandqualificationsareasfollows:

Highschooldiplomarequired,bachelor’s degree in businessisdesired; stronglypreferred.
Strongcommunicationsskills,self-motivated, self-starterandabilitytomultitaskinafast-pacedenvironment.
Abilitytotakedirectionsfrompeersandkeystakeholderswithnodirect reportinglines
