Piping Designer

Responsibilities / Requirements

• Experience with Onshore Upstream and Midstream projects
• Prepare complete design packages, including preliminary, conceptual, and construction deliverables
• Create detailed drawings of parts and assemblies from layouts, designers, and working drawings, including projections, sectional views, and standard specifications
• Develop parts lists, procurement lists, bills of materials (BOM), and specifications; revise as needed based on engineering changes
• Ensure specification and code compliance, equipment compatibility, and cost efficiency
• Assist with field surveys, document existing conditions, and recommend design solutions
• Check field red-lined drawings and generate accurate as-built drawings
• Use 2D and 3D CAD software to create layouts and fabrication/assembly drawings of mechanical systems and components
• Estimate man-hours for discipline-specific scope of work
• Maintain organized file management following industry standards

Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree from a Technical Institution preferred
• 5-7+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and CADWorx software
