About the Role Are you someone who enjoys helping others and creating a welcoming experience? As a
Medical Receptionist at OrthoVirginia, you'll be the friendly face at the front desk, setting the tone for our patients' care journey. You'll manage appointments, assist with insurance processes, support the clinical team, and ensure the front office runs smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do: - Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures
- Answer incoming calls, schedule and confirm appointments
- Enter and update patient information in our system
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collect co-pays and process patient payments
- Provide administrative support including filing, faxing, and managing supplies
- Act as a liaison between patients and clinical teams to ensure seamless communication
- Address patient questions, resolve concerns, and uphold a high level of customer service
What We're Looking For: - High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative or office experience; medical office experience preferred
- Familiarity with insurance verification and billing processes is a plus
