The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the logistics of linehaul trucking, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods across various routes. *Responsibilities*
* Oversee daily linehaul operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
* Manage a team of truck drivers, providing guidance, training, and support.
* Coordinate scheduling for drivers and equipment to optimize route efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
* Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure all trucks are in safe operating condition.
* Handle load planning and distribution to maximize capacity utilization.
* Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of shipments, driver performance, and equipment usage.
*Skills*
* Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles, including tractor-trailers.
* Experience with various types of trucks such as flatbed, dump truck, tanker, and refrigerated trailers.
* Strong knowledge of load unloading procedures and safety protocols.
* Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with drivers, clients, and team members.
* Problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges promptly.

Pay: $63,000.00 - $71,000.00 per year
