Compensation:$75,000 yearly
Responsibilities:The Area Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for leading and driving top-line revenue strategy across all major sales segments, including group and volume transient, for the anchored property (serving as Director of Sales & Marketing), while also overseeing sales synergies and performance for assigned area hotels. This individual will leverage strong brand expertise—particularly with Marriott and IHG brand systems, sales processes, and account management —to maximize market share and revenue opportunities across multiple properties.
The role requires staying ahead of market trends, monitoring market share shifts, and conducting ongoing competitive analysis, while directing property sales teams to ensure revenue goals are consistently achieved or exceeded. The Area Director will also develop and implement a comprehensive marketing communications plan to position each hotel competitively in its market and will manage the sales and marketing budgets to support revenue growth initiatives.
This Area role serves as an ideal stepping stone toward regional oversight, offering hands-on multi-property sales leadership and strategic portfolio management experience
