Revolving Games (RG), a AAA Web3 blockchain game company consisting of game industry veterans that have generated over $5.3B+ in lifetime revenue. Our vision focuses on building social games for the Web3 Blockchain space, powered by NFTs. We are spearheading the fundamental shift in the gaming industry as it moves from Developer-Owned to Player-Owned economies, empowering their communities. While RG operates as a fully remote company, it is headquartered in San Francisco with team members in the United States, Canada, and Pakistan. Game Designer (Execution-Focused) We’re looking for a detail-oriented and execution-driven Game Designer to help bring our game to life. Your primary responsibility will be implementing, balancing, and rigorously testing designed features. This role requires a strong ability to manage and manipulate data within spreadsheets, fine-tune game systems, and work hands-on in the Unity Editor to ensure a polished, high-quality experience. Our team is small and focused, so individual responsibility is high, as is individual ownership; the ideal candidate is ready to jump in and get their hands dirty with every aspect of the design process, from ideation, to spec writing, to content and spreadsheet design work, through the iteration and balancing process and development support. Own the execution of designed features, ensuring they function as intended through meticulous implementation and testing. Balance and tune game data , managing large spreadsheets to create, update, and maintain game economy, progression, and other numerical systems. Test and debug in Unity , validating implementations, adjusting variables, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Contribute to design iteration , working closely with the rest of the design team to refine mechanics and improve player experience based on feedback and playtesting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams , including engineers, artists, production, and product, to maintain smooth feature implementation. Stay up to date on evolving game mechanics, player behavior trends, and industry best practices to help inform design improvements. Your Background You have strong execution skills and have a proven ability to take designed features and implement them to a high standard. You have spreadsheet expertise and are comfortable working with large data sets for balancing, progression, and economy design. You have hands-on experience with Unity and are comfortable in the Unity editor with the ability to test, tweak, and validate game features directly in the engine. You have a keen attention to detail with a methodical approach to testing, iteration, and troubleshooting. You have a collaborative mindset and are capable and comfortable working with multiple disciplines to bring features to completion. You are passionate about game design and have an understanding of how game systems interact to create compelling experiences. You have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to organize game design workflow from initial concept, through implementation to release. You have 3-5 years of relevant experience in casual games and/or other live game content design.
