Milacron is looking for a Field Sales Representative for the Atlanta, GA area to sell capital equipment, injection molding machines, aftermarket items, and auxiliary equipment. Salesforce is the system of record. This role will ensure that expected revenue and customer satisfaction goals are accomplished in the assigned territory serving Milacron’s customers in the plastics Injection industry. This role is closely connected to multiple aspects of the business; thus, the individual will need to be very adept at exceeding by working with and driving results through indirect relationships. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include achievement of the Sales Revenue Plan, designing and executing effective business plans linked to the overall sales strategy, demonstrating a complete understanding of the formal sales process, consulting and advising on Injection System design optimization, knowing competitors and their practices, determining customer satisfaction levels and resolving issues, possessing required sales skills and competencies, participating in sales training, reviewing sales performance and executing countermeasures, traveling approximately 75% to visit assigned accounts, participating in performance appraisals, aggressively closing sales opportunities, supporting monthly Goal Deployment process, maintaining CRM and sales reporting, attending sales and industry meetings, assisting in business plan development including market sizing and SWOT analysis, and preparing executive-level presentations. Basic requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in outside B2B field sales preferably in technical or capital equipment sales, an active driver's license with no restrictions, and ability to travel up to 75%. Preferred experience includes plastic Injection and/or injection-molding industry knowledge.
