Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
In this role, you will lead engineering operations to ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects. You’ll be responsible for organizing and optimizing the team’s workflow using agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and regular feedback sessions.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Director of Strategy and Systems to align on product goals, user needs, and system architecture. In addition, you’ll coordinate with two adjacent teams to set cross-functional priorities, track progress, and drive product value.
As a team leader, you’ll oversee resource planning to ensure efficient execution and delivery. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor and manage a talented group of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
