Our client is building a holistic, enterprise-wide data program that powers better client experiences and next-level growth. They are looking for an experienced leader to architect that vision, galvanize cross-functional teams, and embed a culture of trusted data across the firm.

This leadership role is critical to driving data maturity across the organization, enabling trusted insights, and ensuring regulatory compliance through robust data management practices.

What you’ll do

• Enterprise Data Governance Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive, enterprise-level data governance strategy focused on critical data domains, securing stakeholder alignment across the organization.
• Data Stewardship Leadership: Define roles, responsibilities, and success metrics for a newly established data stewardship network to ensure accountability and clarity in data ownership.
• Data Cataloging & Reference Data Management: Spearhead the organization’s efforts to centralize metadata management using Alation, with a goal of cataloging enterprise data. Lead the reference data standardization using Profisee.
• Data Quality & Observability: Launch a data quality pilot focused on Asset data to enhance pipeline reliability and monitoring.
• Business Impact through Data Enablement: Deliver a 360° view of account and financial asset data to provide to stakeholders and leadership.
• Regulatory Compliance: Accountable for SOC 2 (Type 1) compliance controls related to data retention, classification, and encryption, ensuring data privacy and security standards are met.

What you bring

• 8+ years of experience in data governance, master data management (MDM), and analytics strategy implementation
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise data initiatives that drive measurable business impact
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills
• Deep understanding of data regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, data classification, encryption)
