We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a Cyber Security Engineer in Utah County. In this role, you will be essential in protecting our digital assets from various cyber threats. You will design, implement, and maintain our security systems, and also identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the configuration, installation, and maintenance of intrusion detection systems and firewalls.

• Collaborating with the security team to carry out risk analysis, vulnerability testing, and security assessments.

• Proposing enhancements to system controls and access levels.

• Managing the configuration, installation, and maintenance of various security tools, including PAM, Email Security, Vulnerability Management, Endpoint Security, and Firewalls.

• Implementing and maintaining Privilege Management and Email Security systems.

• Ensuring the configuration and maintenance of Identity Management, such as Okta.

• Assisting in identifying and testing new security products.

• Contributing to the development of standards, policies, and procedures to ensure security.

• Developing source code management and disaster preparedness procedures to protect corporate assets.

• Assisting in designing Security Architecture and creating technical documentation.

• Collaborating with a third-party SOC to ensure comprehensive monitoring and coverage of all use cases.

• Identifying new security tools and participating in their evaluation.

• Creating technical reports and communicating test findings to the senior IT leadership team.

• The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cyber Security Engineer
• Proficiency in Firewall Technologies is necessary
• Must have experience in AB Testing
• Demonstrated experience in Configuration Management is required
• Expertise in Cyber Security is mandatory
• Knowledge of Okta will be a plus
• Must have experience in Email security
• Familiarity with Security Vulnerability and Vulnerability remediations is needed
• Knowledge and experience in Endpoint Security is required
• Expertise in Security Architecture is necessary
• Must have experience in Vulnerability Assessment
• Proficiency in Risk Analysis is needed
• Cisco CCNP certification is a plus
• CISSP certification is preferable
• Must hold the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.
