Corporate Counsel – "Future Forged in Tradition"

Our client is blending a 100-year legacy with a bold, two-year-old new beginning — and they’re on the move!

Their teams design and fabricate some of the world's most impressive vessels and infrastructure components. From marine transport giants to government agencies, including the DOD and major municipalities, they help critical industries through precision craftsmanship and innovation.

Now, we are seeking a Corporate Counsel to join their tight-knit, high-performing team and have a seat at the table as they build the next chapter.

This role is 100% on-site and based in Portland, Oregon. Please refrain from applying if you cannot work on-site every day.

About the Role:

You’ll work hand-in-hand with the CEO and leadership team to:

• Author and validate contracts, ensuring favorable and compliant agreements.
• Support and advise the sales organization on complex deal structures for new fabrications and vessel sales.
• Oversee corporate compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
• Play a key role in dispute resolution, employment law, and environmental compliance.

You’ll be embedded directly in the action — onsite, full-time in Portland, OR — alongside a team united by one mission: " Future Forged in Tradition"

About You:

You are rooted in the physical world — someone who enjoys seeing projects come to life. You would take pride in the excitement of launching a new vessel or delivering a structure to our clients.

You have:

• A strong legal background (5+ years of corporate law experience required).
• An active Oregon State Bar license (required).
• A sharp eye for risk and opportunity in complex environments.
• A hands-on, solution-oriented approach to business challenges.
• An interest in complex fabrication, construction, or the like.

Compensation & Benefits:

We offer a highly competitive salary between $150,000 and $250,000 DOE/DOQ and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with company match, health, dental, vision, life insurance, health savings and flexible spending accounts, paid time off, and more.
