Job Overview
A U.S.-based law firm is seeking a seasoned Business Immigration Attorney with a minimum of 4–5 years of experience to join its legal team. This role involves handling a range of employment-based immigration matters, with a focus on H-2B visas and National Interest Waiver (NIW) petitions. Manage a broad portfolio of business immigration cases
Prepare and file applications and petitions with USCIS, DOL, and other agencies
Draft legal documents including support letters, forms, briefs, and responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs)
Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
Analyze client eligibility and advise on best immigration options
Maintain regular communication with corporate clients and beneficiaries
Monitor changes in immigration law and inform internal teams of relevant updates
Collaborate with colleagues to improve legal workflows and system efficiencies
Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in U.S. business immigration law
Proficiency in preparing H-2B and NIW petitions strongly preferred
Proven ability to manage complex legal caseloads and deadlines
Familiarity with USCIS and DOL procedures
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (New Jersey preferred)
Member in good standing with relevant state bar
Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication abilities
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
Comfort with legal practice management software and digital tools
Interest in process optimization and legal technology is a plus
