About The Role

The selected Software Test Engineer will have a background in maintaining and enhancing automated test scripts and creating and executing test procedures to support development, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.

The candidate will design and write automated test plans and procedures, analyze test results and develop and review code as necessary. In addition, the Test Engineer will document bugs in the provided tracking system and provide test reports.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience OR A PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience; An additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement
• Familiarity with GitHub workflows or other CI/CD approaches that will work with Git repositories.
• Experience with automated test frameworks and tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, Pytest, Unittest, and others.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing existing automated software testing scripts
• TS/SCI with current Poly

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands on experience with test automation in cloud-native or containerized architectures.
• Knowledge of GitHub Packages and artifact management for test results.
• Experience setting up branch protection rules and required status checks based on test outcomes.
• Experience working with developers to ensure test coverage and quality gates.
• Familiarity with code coverage tools and static analysis.

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
